Building process of the hospital started in 1977 and start receiving patients in 1981, additional building was built in 1996 and the hospital was remodeled in 1996 by reconstructing and remodeled the departments of labor, gynecology.

Pediatric and neonate .also by maintaining new advanced equipments and systems to the radiology, operation, anesthesia, laboratory and endoscopy departments.

Shmaisani hospital locates in the heart of Amman in surrounded by all main hotels and restaurants and banks administrations buildings, also its surrounded by all kinds of services with easy transportation facilities. Shmaisani hospital is one of modern pioneers' hospitals in Jordan that willing to introduce special medical services. it contains 80 beds and the patients rooms are well furnished and calcified to large suits and first class , second class and third class .

Patients are followed by well qualified medical and nursing staff with good experience.
